Friotaíoch is a Bitcoin-derived chain secured by NIST-standardised post-quantum signatures. Every coin can be held and spent with cryptography built to withstand a large-scale quantum computer — not just today's.
Classical signatures like ECDSA fall to Shor's algorithm on a capable quantum computer. Friotaíoch replaces them with Pay-to-Quantum-Resistant outputs, backed by two independent NIST standards — a lattice scheme and a hash-based scheme — so a break in one leaves the other standing.
Module-Lattice Digital Signature Algorithm. Compact signatures, fast verification, and the primary signing scheme for everyday FRIO addresses.
Security resting only on the strength of hash functions — the most conservative assumption in cryptography. Larger signatures, maximal long-term confidence.
No premine inherited from anywhere. Friotaíoch launched clean — its own genesis block, its own proof-of-work, its own quantum-resistant consensus rules enforced from block zero.
